At Frontier Movie Town, in Kanab Utah, Hollywood's vision of the Wild West lives on with daily reenactments of creating a western movie with the public playing the roles. In this short documentary, directed by Emmy Award winner Clark Santee, Tom Forsigth, owner of Frontier Movie Town, gives a look behind the scenes of the daily activities and how he and his crew create How the West Was... Lost. On display are buildings from the sets of Disney's 1973 comedy-drama One Little Indian, starring James Garner and Vera Miles; the 1948 classic Western Black Bart, with Yvonne De Carlo and Dan Duryea; the 1997 crime-action flick Truth or Consequences, with Kiefer Sutherland; and Clint Eastwood's 1976 hit movie The Outlaw Josey Wales, and many others.
